This is not how your story ends-Restorative-devotional

RESTORATIVE DEVOTIONAL

TUESDAY 22 JULY 2025

This Is Not How Your Story Ends

SCRIPTURE:

“Being confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.”
— Philippians 1:6 (NKJV)

The interpretation of this verse is simple...: "there is THIS ONE THING I am sure of, without an iota of doubt."

And it is THIS...... The God that started this good work in you, will NOT abandon the project."

Have you noticed that "You are a work in progress?"

DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE:

You are reading this for a reason. Not everyone made it this far... but you did.

Maybe not where you thought you would be.
Maybe not with the support you expected.
But you are still here.
Still standing. Still breathing.

Stop confusing the middle with the end
Don’t confuse the silence with absence

The chapters you are struggling through now will one day be someone else’s survival guide.... just because you kept going.

Your Mind may be telling you to see this phase of your life, as the end, but Your Maker will surely consider it as an interlude.

Heaven has not logged you out.

Earth has loads of storage space for your impact.

The main, and most significant reason that you are still here, is that God has not finished with you yet.

This is not where the story ends.

You are not overlooked. You are not out of time. You are not disqualified.

Your story.... as bruised and as damaged as it may feel... IS NOT OVER.

And when God is the Author, even the tattered pages can still carry divine glory.

My friend, God is in THIS story!
Hold on tight.

TONIGHT'S RESTORATIVE THOUGHT:

The page you're on is not the whole book.
Don’t hand the pen over to fear, to disappointment, or to regret.

Let the Author finish your story.

If you’ve ever thought it was too late to start over, let me remind you that if a 64 year old widow can do it, you have no excuse.

I help seniors turn their skills and stories into stress-free digital income streams through books, training, and tools, & help life transitioners make legal migration possible, so they can thrive, earn, and leave lasting legacies.

Just type: "Lets Go", to remind yourself.  Feel free to add today's date, Tue 22 July 2025.

Now, you are committed!
Somehow or other, you will be reminded of today. Trust me.
Heaven has made note of it.

Hidden Not Forgotten - Restorative-Devotional

Hidden, Not Forgotten
✨Evening Restorative Devotional
~ Saturday 19 July 2025

Dear Friend,

Hidden, Not Forgotten

You’ve prayed.
You’ve sown.
You’ve stayed faithful.
Yet, there is no spotlight.
No open doors.
No acknowledgment.

It feels like God tucked you into a forgotten corner.

But today’s reminder is simple and soul-deep: You may be hidden, but you are not forgotten.

πŸ’ƒπŸΎ Even in silence, heaven is watching.
πŸ•Ί Even in obscurity, God is shaping.
πŸ’ƒπŸΎ Even in delay, your preparation is sacred.

When God hides a person, it's rarely punishment..... It is for protection.

He is forming your depth, stretching your roots, and building your resilience.

✔️ He hid Moses in the desert for no fault of his.
✔️ He hid Joseph in prison for something he did not do.
✔️ He hid David in the cave....
And hid Esther in the palace.

But when their moment came… the world could not ignore them.

So, my friend, sister, brother, daughter, son...... hold your head up tonight.
πŸ•Ί Heaven has not turned its back.
πŸ’ƒπŸΎ You are still on God’s map.

And in due time.... He will reveal what He’s been refining.
HOLD ON TIGHT

πŸ“– Scripture Meditation:

"When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen."
— Isaiah 60:22

********************
πŸ™πŸΎ Evening Prayer Whisper:

Lord, thank you for seeing me even when others overlook me.
Thank you for your hidden work. When I feel tucked away, remind me that I’m held in your hands, not forgotten in the shadows. Amen.

********************

πŸͺž Evening Reflection Prompt:

πŸ€” What quiet season in your life actually protected you from something you now see clearly?
πŸ€” What has God been teaching you in the hidden places?

🀣 When God hides you, nobody can help you.
🀣 In fact, nobody (actually) sees nor remembers you!!!

Don't blame them... It's not their fault.
But, are you keeping notes?

Because, when God is ready, nobody will forget or be able to ignore you!!
MARK MY WORDS.

Don’t Lose Faith in the Middle - Restorative Devotional

Dont lose faith in the middle

NEW BEGINNINGS DAILY RESTORATIVE DEVOTIONAL

Edition #013 – Sunday, 13 July 2025

Don’t Lose Faith in the Middle

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
Galatians 6:9 (NIV)

A lady I know once started a community kitchen during the pandemic. Nobody saw the pandemic coming. Throughout that first week, only one customer turned up. That week, her food was wasted. The next few weeks were not encouraging, either.

In fact, no one actually turned up for the business launch or opening day.

By the third month, she decided it was best to quit.

But something in her heart whispered, “You’re not done.”

So, she stayed.

Two years later, the local news covered the same kitchen. By then, she was serving over 300 people a week.

There is always a middle moment in everybody's story, and in every single journey.

That is the part that doesn’t look anything like the promise.
The stretch between “I started” and “It worked, hurray.”

That is the point where faith gets tested.

It is where the enemy plants all the lies that are easy to fall for.
But it is also where God grows those roots that you don't see.

πŸ“Œ If you’re in the middle, tired, doubting, discouraged, hear this: You’re closer than you think. Don’t give up now.

πŸ’‘ LIFE APPLICATION:

Pause today and ask: “Where have I grown weary?”
Reignite your ‘why.’
Pray over it.
Take one small action.
Hold your ground...... even in the silence.

πŸ™ Declaration Prayer:

Lord, I trust You even in the middle.
When the outcome feels far, give me strength to keep sowing.
I believe a harvest is coming. Amen.

You Are Not Too Late for Purpose - Restorative Devotional

You are not too late

NEW BEGINNINGS DAILY RESTORATIVE DEVOTIONAL

Edition #011 – Friday, 11 July 2025

Theme: You’re Not Too Late

Scripture:

"The glory of this latter house shall be greater than the former," says the Lord of hosts.

~ Haggai 2:9 (KJV)

Message:

There’s a voice that creeps in when you hit 40… 50… 60…

That voice whispers:

“It’s too late.”

“You’ve missed your chance.”

“Others are far ahead.”

But the Word of God always counters the lie.

God is not stuck in time!! He created time.

What seems like delay may be divine preparation.

And what looks like the end of a chapter may actually be the beginning of a testimony.

Abraham was nearly 100. Moses began at 80.

Even Jesus didn’t begin His public ministry until 30.

Hear this : There is no Expiry Date on Purpose.

Even when the world writes you off, God writes you in.

Even when you feel like you’re walking into a season “late,” God says,

“I’ve just been preparing the table for you.”

You’re not too old.

You’re not too late.

You’re right on time… for your New Beginning.

πŸ’‘ LIFE APPLICATION:

Stop apologizing for your age or your pace.

Instead, show up with wisdom, courage, and grace.

God’s glory in your latter days will be greater..... if you can dare to believe it.

πŸ™ Declaration Prayer:

Lord, thank You that my story is not over.

I surrender the fear of being late and embrace the truth that You make all things beautiful in Your time.

Lead me forward with peace, purpose, and boldness. Amen.

πŸ“– Bible in a Year Reading:

πŸ“š Genesis 35–37

(We previously repeated Gen 30–31. Thank you for your understanding as we grow together.)

πŸ’¬ Quote of the Day:

"Delay is not denial. God’s timing is not just perfect!  It’s purposeful."

Don’t Underestimate the Seed - Restorative Devotional

seed growing in hand

New Beginnings Daily Restorative Devotional

Edition: #010
Date: Thursday, 10 July 2025

Theme: Don’t Underestimate the Seed

SCRIPTURE:
“Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin.”
~ Zechariah 4:10 (NLT)

MESSAGE:

You’re doing better than you think.

The work may feel slow. The results may not be loud.

But heaven rejoices every time you take another step.

The seed you're sowing, faithfully, quietly, consistently, will bear fruit.

Sometimes what feels like delay is just depth being built beneath the surface.

So stay with it. Water it. Watch it.

The seed will speak... soon.

LIFE APPLICATION:

What seed are you tempted to give up on because it's not growing fast enough?
Today, choose to nurture it with faith, not frustration.

DECLARATION PRAYER:

Lord, thank You for the seed You’ve placed in my hand.
Help me to steward it with joy, courage, and wisdom.
I declare: My harvest is on the way, and I will not give up before it comes!
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

BIBLE IN A YEAR:

πŸ“– Genesis 32–34

(We previously repeated Gen 30–31. Thank you for your grace as we grow together.)

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

“Obedience is the seed. Faith is the water. Trust is the sunlight. The harvest always comes—never early, never late.”
~ Dr. Yinka Dixon

Who Do You Think You Are? You’re Not Too Small - Restorative Devotional

NEW BEGINNINGS DAILY DEVOTIONAL

TUESDAY, 8 JULY 2025
Theme: You’re Not Too Small for Big Things

SCRIPTURE:
"But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise... the weak things... to confound the things which are mighty."
~ 1 Corinthians 1:27 (KJV)

MESSAGE:
There’s a voice that whispers:
“Who do you think you are?”
It tells you that your past disqualifies you, your resources are too small, or your voice is not needed.

That voice is lying.

When God wants to make a statement, He often uses what the world considers small, weak, or ordinary.
He used Moses, who stammered.
He used David, the overlooked shepherd.
He used a widow with only a jar of oil.
And He still uses people like you.

Your voice, your skill, your journey..  THEY MATTER!!!
Stop shrinking.
You are not a mistake.
You’re not too old.
You’re not too late.
You’re not too broken to be used.

THESE ARE THE BELIEFS YOU HOLD, WHICH CRIPPLE AND LIMIT YOU.
These could also be other people's views of you, or things you've heard them say about you.

What does God SAY, about you?

PRACTICAL APPLICATION:
1. Write down one limiting belief you have carried, and replace it with one empowering truth from Scripture.
2. Say it out aloud. Many times.
3. Listen to yourself.
4. Believe your own words.

For example:

🎁 When you doubt your abilities to overcome challenges:
πŸ™πŸΎ ~ Philippians 4:13
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

🎁 When you're weak or need comfort and encouragement:
πŸ™πŸΎ 2 Corinthians 12:9:
"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me."

🎁 When you're afraid or discouraged or need to feel protected and secure.
πŸ™πŸΎ Psalm 27:1:
"The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life - of whom shall I be afraid?"

🎁 When you need confidence against obstacles.l:
πŸ™πŸΎ Romans 8:31:
"What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?"

🎁 When you are discouraged and need assurance of God's supernatural presence and support.
πŸ™πŸΎ Joshua 1:9:
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."

5. Then do one bold thing today that reflects who you truly are becoming.
6. Activated your faith..

If you can't believe in or trust or have confidence in your own self, how can anyone else believe you?

DECLARATION:
Dear Lord, I refuse to disqualify myself.
I am chosen, equipped, and useful in your hands.
Use even the “small” parts of me to make a lasting impact.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

QUOTE OF THE DAY:
"Your size doesn’t limit your impact. It’s your surrender that unlocks your influence."
— Dr. Yinka Dixon
