God Opens Doors - Restorative Devotional

What God Opens, No One Shuts
Daily Restorative Devotional
Friday, 18 July 2025

What He opens no one can shut, and what He shuts no one can open.”
~ Revelation 3:7

Dear Friend,

There are some doors only God can open. And when He does, no human decision, system, opinion, or resistance can stop it.

Some doors swing open quietly.
Others come after a long wait.
But when it is your door it will not miss you.

You may be standing before opportunities you didn’t apply for, rooms you didn’t qualify for, or blessings you didn’t even know how to pray for.

Why? Because grace outruns credentials.

🛑 Stop striving for doors that are not yours.
✅ Start aligning with the One who holds the master key.

God opens doors in His time, for His glory, and your good.

And the good news?
No one, absolutely no one, can shut what He has chosen to release into your life.

********************

Take a Breath Today…
You don’t have to force it.
You don’t have to fake it.
You don’t have to fight your way into it.

Just trust and walk..
The key is already in His hand.

********************

PRAYER:
Lord, I surrender my timing, my plans, and my fears to You.
I trust that whatever You open for me, no one can close.
And whatever You close, I will no longer chase.
Lead me into the doors of destiny You have prepared. Amen.

Don’t Lose Faith in the Middle - Restorative Devotional

Dont lose faith in the middle

NEW BEGINNINGS DAILY RESTORATIVE DEVOTIONAL

Edition #013 – Sunday, 13 July 2025

Don’t Lose Faith in the Middle

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
Galatians 6:9 (NIV)

A lady I know once started a community kitchen during the pandemic. Nobody saw the pandemic coming. Throughout that first week, only one customer turned up. That week, her food was wasted. The next few weeks were not encouraging, either.

In fact, no one actually turned up for the business launch or opening day.

By the third month, she decided it was best to quit.

But something in her heart whispered, “You’re not done.”

So, she stayed.

Two years later, the local news covered the same kitchen. By then, she was serving over 300 people a week.

There is always a middle moment in everybody's story, and in every single journey.

That is the part that doesn’t look anything like the promise.
The stretch between “I started” and “It worked, hurray.”

That is the point where faith gets tested.

It is where the enemy plants all the lies that are easy to fall for.
But it is also where God grows those roots that you don't see.

📌 If you’re in the middle, tired, doubting, discouraged, hear this: You’re closer than you think. Don’t give up now.

💡 LIFE APPLICATION:

Pause today and ask: “Where have I grown weary?”
Reignite your ‘why.’
Pray over it.
Take one small action.
Hold your ground...... even in the silence.

🙏 Declaration Prayer:

Lord, I trust You even in the middle.
When the outcome feels far, give me strength to keep sowing.
I believe a harvest is coming. Amen.

You Are Not Invisible - Restorative Devotional

🎯🥁  NEW BEGINNINGS DAILY RESTORATIVE DEVOTIONAL

Edition #010 – Thursday, 10 July 2025

Theme: The God Who Sees Me

📖 SCRIPTURE:
“She gave this name to the Lord who spoke to her: ‘You are the God who sees me.’”
~ Genesis 16:13

📜 MESSAGE:
Hagar had no voice. No title. She had no one who was standing up for her. But in the wilderness, when life felt like a runaway journey... God saw her.

And HE sees you.

Many times on our journey through life, we feel alone, isolated, and sometimes, lonely! You think of "who to call," not to borrow money, but, just to say a simple "hello."

And you hold your phone. No one readily comes to mind! You feel you may be disturbing them. You are not in anybody's "close" buddy or paddy "circle." You drop your phone, and you fall asleep.

It's true, scripture says, "to have friends, you must yourself, be friendly." (Proverbs 18:24). But, is it really "that simple?"

I learnt very early in life, that "your best friend has a best friend." But, as you try to get closer to become their friend, they are busy discussing you with their own best friends, and you are not part of that conversation.

Such is life. You end up remaining "in your lane," as we say in Nigeria. And many people are weeping silent tears because being alone is not easy. It can lead to loneliness.

God sees your tears, your silent frustrations, the effort you make that nobody claps for. He sees every effort you make.

In His TIME, your "sunshine" will appear. Your "day" will break, and your Maker will shine through without your effort. At that time, you will not need any particular "one." God Himself will create a friendship around you.

You’re not invisible. You're not forgotten. You are seen, deeply, wholly, lovingly.

💡 LIFE APPLICATION
Today, instead of striving for recognition, rest in the assurance that you are seen by the One who matters most.

🙏 DECLARATION PRAYER:
My God who made me and who sees me. I thank YOU that I am not hidden from You. You know my name. You know my pain. You are rewriting my story with grace and love. I choose to rest in Your love today. Amen.

📖 BIBLE IN A YEAR:
Genesis 32–34
(We previously repeated Gen 30–31. Thank you for your understanding and grace, as we grow together.)

📌 QUOTE OF THE DAY
"You are not invisible. He who made you knows you, sees you, and holds you, even in your "wilderness" experience.”

Don’t Underestimate the Seed - Restorative Devotional

seed growing in hand

New Beginnings Daily Restorative Devotional

Edition: #010
Date: Thursday, 10 July 2025

Theme: Don’t Underestimate the Seed

SCRIPTURE:
“Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin.”
~ Zechariah 4:10 (NLT)

MESSAGE:

You’re doing better than you think.

The work may feel slow. The results may not be loud.

But heaven rejoices every time you take another step.

The seed you're sowing, faithfully, quietly, consistently, will bear fruit.

Sometimes what feels like delay is just depth being built beneath the surface.

So stay with it. Water it. Watch it.

The seed will speak... soon.

LIFE APPLICATION:

What seed are you tempted to give up on because it's not growing fast enough?
Today, choose to nurture it with faith, not frustration.

DECLARATION PRAYER:

Lord, thank You for the seed You’ve placed in my hand.
Help me to steward it with joy, courage, and wisdom.
I declare: My harvest is on the way, and I will not give up before it comes!
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

BIBLE IN A YEAR:

📖 Genesis 32–34

(We previously repeated Gen 30–31. Thank you for your grace as we grow together.)

QUOTE OF THE DAY:

“Obedience is the seed. Faith is the water. Trust is the sunlight. The harvest always comes—never early, never late.”
~ Dr. Yinka Dixon

You’re Not Too Late - Daily Restorative Devotional 002

New Beginnings Daily Restorative Devotional

Monday, 7 July 2025
Theme: You’re Not Too Late

Scripture:
"The vision is for an appointed time… Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not delay."
~ Habakkuk 2:3 (NKJV)

MESSAGE:
Sometimes we look around and feel like we’ve missed it. Missed the moment. Missed our window.
But God's calendar doesn’t run on panic or pressure. It runs on purpose.

Delay is not denial.
Detour is not defeat.
Your journey is being edited, refined, and repositioned for "right timing," not just for "good timing."

Do you remember that Sarah laughed at the idea that her promise could still come true. Yes! Many of us laugh because we cannot SEE what God sees! Yet, at the appointed time, God's promise to her, "became!!"  (Genesis 21:2).

So breathe. You’re not too late.
You’re right on time for something new, something divine, something unshakeable.

LIFE APPLICATION:
What promise have you shelved because of delays?
What dream did you bury because “too much time has passed”?

Well, bring it back to God tonight.
You may have let go, but you must believe that He did not forget, nor let go.

DECLARATION PRAYER:

God of appointed times, thank You that my life is not behind schedule.
Tonight, I release the fear of delay, and I step back into agreement with Your timing. Alleluia!!
I will not settle for despair.
I will prepare for destiny.
In Jesus' name,
Amen.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:
Genesis 21–23

QUOTE OF THE NIGHT:

“God doesn’t need your perfect timing. He just needs your readiness when the time is right.”
