Consistency Beats Intensity - Brand New Day

Consistency Beats Intensity

A BRAND NEW DAY
Tuesday, 15 July 2025

Dear Friend!

In a world where people celebrate instant wins and overnight success, it's easy to feel like you’re not doing enough, especially when you're building something like a business, slow and steady.

But here’s the truth:

The brightest stars are not the ones that burn out fast.
They’re the ones that keep shining, steadily, day after day.

* You don’t need to go viral to be valuable.
* You don’t need a flood of followers to be faithful.

* You just need to show up!! Again and again.. even when the applause is quiet or none at all.

************
πŸ“ The real breakthroughs happen in the ordinary days…

The days..
* When no one is watching,
* When it feels repetitive,
* When you choose discipline over drama,
* And you choose purpose over pressure.

πŸ“ That is where your business grows.
πŸ“ That is where your influence deepens.
πŸ“ That is where your gift is refined.

************

πŸ“Œ Consistency isn’t boring!!
It is powerful.

* It is the secret sauce behind every lasting brand,
* very trusted voice,
* And every financial breakthrough.

πŸ“Œ ACTION POINT:

Today, I urge you to choose one thing that you will stay faithful to.
* Even if it’s small.
* Even if you’re tired.

πŸ“ Your quiet consistency will speak louder than any "loud launch" ever could.

You've heard the saying;
"Little drops of water makes the mighty ocean!"

You've probably also heard this saying in scripture (re-hashed):

"Have you seen a man who stays steadfast to his calling,  to his business, to his "truth....? He shall stand before Kings, and not before mean men.."

He does not go looking to "stand" before Kings!

But because of his consistency, when it is TIME for recommendation, someone somewhere, will say of him, "I KNOW A MAN... CONSISTENT AS CLOCKWORK..."
That man will be you!"

The person who recommends you may be someone you don't even know!
And it will amaze and shock you!
People (good and bad) are watching!

May grace speak for you beyond the reach of men & women with evil minds, plans, and intentions. Amen.

Never ignore the days of SMALL BEGINNINGS....

Just stay consistent, and turn up every day!!
The sun always shines again after each storm.

Can We Still Sit at the Same Table? What If Mornings

Can We Still Sit at the Same Table?

What-If Mornings with Dr. Yinka Dixon

Season 2 Episode 3 (S2-E3)

 July 2025

What if sitting at the table again wasn’t about restoring the relationship, but reclaiming your peace?

Hello dear friend,

Welcome to this month’s heart-stirring edition of What-If Mornings with Dr. Yinka Dixon, where we pause to reflect, realign, and renew.

One voice. One thought. One shift at a time.

This July, I’ve been thinking about tables.

Not just the physical ones.

But the emotional ones.

Those sacred spaces where trust, love, hurt, and sometimes silence, gather.

There’s a moment in every healing journey where you’re faced with a choice:

* Do I sit again at the table with someone who once broke me?
* Do I risk presence after pain?

Or…

* Do I stay away, keeping peace by keeping my distance?

But what if… the answer is neither?

What if you can show up - not to fix, not to return, but to reclaim your place in the world as someone whole again?

πŸŽ™️ This month’s question:

Can we still sit at the same table?

Not for reconciliation, but for reclamation.
Not to deny the wound, but to declare the healing.

We have often been taught that forgiveness means returning to the place where you were hurt, or reconciling with the person that hurt you.

But.. What if that is not entirely complete as a healing action?

Perhaps Forgiveness is just means release yourself from more pain.

Maybe showing up at the table is not about pretending it didn’t happen, but about showing that the pain did not "finish" or destroy you.

πŸ’ Let’s reflect:

  • What if sitting again was an act of courage, not comfort?

  • What if healing meant boundaries, not blame?

  • What if you are the healing energy the room now needs?

This month, I invite you to listen, to breathe through the discomfort, and ask:

Can I sit with myself fully, before I sit with anyone else?

Don’t Lose Faith in the Middle - Restorative Devotional

Dont lose faith in the middle

Don’t Lose Faith in the Middle

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
Galatians 6:9 (NIV)

A lady I know once started a community kitchen during the pandemic. Nobody saw the pandemic coming. Throughout that first week, only one customer turned up. That week, her food was wasted. The next few weeks were not encouraging, either.

In fact, no one actually turned up for the business launch or opening day.

By the third month, she decided it was best to quit.

But something in her heart whispered, “You’re not done.”

So, she stayed.

Two years later, the local news covered the same kitchen. By then, she was serving over 300 people a week.

There is always a middle moment in everybody's story, and in every single journey.

That is the part that doesn’t look anything like the promise.
The stretch between “I started” and “It worked, hurray.”

That is the point where faith gets tested.

It is where the enemy plants all the lies that are easy to fall for.
But it is also where God grows those roots that you don't see.

πŸ“Œ If you’re in the middle, tired, doubting, discouraged, hear this: You’re closer than you think. Don’t give up now.

πŸ’‘ LIFE APPLICATION:

Pause today and ask: “Where have I grown weary?”
Reignite your ‘why.’
Pray over it.
Take one small action.
Hold your ground...... even in the silence.

πŸ™ Declaration Prayer:

Lord, I trust You even in the middle.
When the outcome feels far, give me strength to keep sowing.
I believe a harvest is coming. Amen.

Inspiration Comes From Motion - Brand New Day

🌞 A BRAND NEW DAY
TUESDAY, 8 JULY 2025

Don’t wait for inspiration. It comes while you’re working.”
— Henri Matisse

Sometimes, the clarity you need doesn’t come before the work!!  It shows up while you're in motion.

🎯 Don't wait to "feel like it."
Start anyway.
Write that first sentence.
Make that one call.
Show up to the task even if your mood has not caught up yet.
You will be amazed at what gets activated once you begin.
You have an unending powerful resource inside of you!
You just need to start and keep going!

Today, be encouraged to move first.
Inspiration is a daily gift that follows your effort. πŸŽπŸ’

AFFIRMATION:
I take initiative today, even if I don’t have all the answers or the energy.
Momentum will catch up with me.
Clarity will find me.
Grace will carry me forward.
AMEN!! πŸ’ƒπŸΎπŸ•Ί
