There’s a whisper that sometimes haunts us after failure, burnout, or deep disappointment:

“Maybe I missed it.”

“Maybe I disqualified myself.”
“Maybe I’m no longer useful to God.”

But that whisper is not from heaven.

Moses murdered a man… and still led a nation.
Peter denied Jesus three times… and still became a pillar of the early church.
Rahab had a questionable past… and still made it into the lineage of Christ.

If God only used the flawless, we’d have an empty Bible and an empty church.

You may have paused.
You may have stumbled.
You may have even walked away.

But here’s the truth: You are still chosen. Still called.
Not because of your perfection, but because of God’s unchanging grace.

God knew your journey.
And He hasn’t changed His mind.

It really does take courage to say:

🙏🏾 I deserve another chance.

Every restart is an act of bravery, not weakness. It says:

> “I refuse to let yesterday decide today’s story.”

Sometimes, we look at our lives and feel stuck, as if everything is glued to one spot, or, on pause, or nothing is moving fast enough.

But if you pause and look deeper.

You will notice, and it may shock you:

You are not where you used to be.

You may not see the full picture yet, but you are becoming.

"Becoming" is a process that can take several years to form. You plant seeds, and some grow in days. Some trees take years to grow.

Other seeds will be harvested by your grandchildren or great grandchildren.

If you ever reach the point where you feel you have "arrived," your engine needs to be turned off. Your Satnav has finished its job.

As a person, YOU are Daily Becoming!

💃🏾 Becoming wiser through lessons you didn’t choose.

💃🏾 Becoming stronger through tears you didn’t expect.

💃🏾 Becoming gentler through battles you didn’t deserve.

💃🏾 Becoming more focused through storms you didn’t plan.

God often shapes us in the quiet, hidden seasons before we are revealed in the open.

TODAY: Trust the Process

SCRIPTURE:

"Being confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."

~ Philippians 1:6 (NIV)

RESTORATIVE DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE:

We often love the idea of having breakthroughs, but we don’t always love the process that leads to it.

We forget that there is "break" before "breakthrough." Meaning that "something" has to break before that breakthrough arrives...

God’s work in our lives is NOT always instant.

Sometimes it feels very slow, painfully uncomfortable, or even desperately uncertain.

But just as clay needs the potter’s touch, and gold needs refining fire, you and I need time, pressure, and shaping moments!!!

God never forgot.....

Trusting the process means believing that where you are right now is part of where God is taking you. It is not THE END!

It is YOU, telling yourself, “This chapter is not the whole story, but it is necessary for what comes next.”

When Joseph was betrayed by his brothers and stripped of his Coat of Many Colours, it felt like the end of his dream.

He was thrown into a Pit by his beloved and very loving siblings, and sold into slavery.

As if that was not bad enough, he was FALSELY ACCUSED, but escaped, yet he ended up, left to rot in a Prison.

Nothing about his journey looked like destiny. He had done nothing wrong....

Yet, every step, even the painful ones, positioned him for purpose.

From the Coat to the Pit, from the Pit to the Prison, and from the Prison straight to the Palace... Joseph’s story was never straightforward, but his elevation was glorious.

Your current steps... even the hard, confusing ones... are leading somewhere holy and glorious!

Hold on.

It will end in praise if you don’t give up.

LIFE APPLICATION:

Pause today and ask:

“WHERE am I fighting this process?”

Instead of rushing through it or resenting it, choose to rest in the fact that God’s hand is still on you, even when things feel out of order.

DECLARATION PRAYER:

🙏🏾Lord, teach me to trust You, even when I don’t understand.

🙏🏾 Help me to see Your hand in the process.

🙏🏾Keep me trusting Your timing for the promise.

I choose peace over panic.. and I choose faith over frustration.

We often rush to “get back to normal” after a setback, loss, trauma, or deep disappointment.

But what if healing itself is the holy work?

Jesus never rushed past the wounded.

He paused.

He touched.

He listened.

Healing was part of His ministry... and it still is today.

Sometimes, the most spiritual thing you can do is STOP, BREATHE, and HEAL.

That may mean counseling, journaling, resting, or even choosing solitude over noise. It is not weakness. It’s wisdom.

Healing is not about pretending the hurt never happened. It is about surrendering your broken pieces to the One who can make them whole again. Healing can involve emotional tears, deep silence, empty stares into nothing ahead...

Every wound that heals is a testimony.

Every scar is a story of grace.

The grace of God!!

Embrace healing.

Be hugged by God's grace.. 👑🙏🏾

Stop Apologizing for Needing Rest

Dear Friends,

Here is "The Reset Table," your mid-week space for emotional clarity, soul healing, and a gentle nudge to slow down where life has been running too fast.

Welcome to The Reset Table...

Grab a seat.

Today’s reset is a simple yet powerful reminder: Stop apologizing for needing rest.

We live in a culture where exhaustion is worn like a badge of honour. Many people feel guilty when they have to slow down, as if resting is a sign of weakness or laziness. Yet even the Christian scriptures tells us that Jesus took time to rest (Mark 6:31), pulling away from the crowds to recharge.

This was because they were so "busy doing ministry" that they did not have time to eat or rest. That verse emphasizes the need for rest and solitude, even in the middle a demanding ministry or in business, hustle.

Rest is not a luxury! It is sacred.

Rest is not permission to quit... it is preparation to continue.

When you honour rest, you are acknowledging that you are human, not a machine.

Some of us are too busy in "busy-ness" that we end up achieving very little. The body will take its toll, and ultimately, your productivity might end in zero, until and unless you take a break and rest.

Rest is a Ministry.

It is a crucial part of your daily hustle.

Your body is more important than your car. Yet, we all know that if you overwork your car without rest or service, one day, the engine will knock. Where will that leave you and your busy-ness?

Your body is your first business machine. Take care of it. Take time to rest. Your body has two options for Malfunction: Breakdown or Pack up... There's no need to explain this.

Step away! Take a deserved break.

Rest. Make no excuses. You owe it to yourself. Don't apologise. Just do it.

1. Identify one thing today that is wearing you down unnecessarily.

2. Make a conscious choice to pause... even if just for 15 minutes.

3. Write down one boundary you will enforce to protect your peace for the rest of this week (going forwards).

Show Up Authentically

Dear Friend,

It is tempting to hide behind masks, especially in business, social spaces, or ministry because other people want you to “look perfect” to be accepted. Many times, you agree with them by trying to be perfect.

But here’s the truth: your authentic self is your most powerful brand. Be real. Stop trying to look, speak or act like someone else.

Can you maintain a fake life? Some people fool many people with their fake smiles plastered to their faces. Behind those smiles are deep dark wickedness, and evil mindset. They fit into the always "perfect" category.

Truth is, noone can be "always perfect." It's just not possible. Is it not better for people to get to know who you really are? It doesn't mean they will always understand you, but you get to live a life authentically you!

When people meet the real you, they connect to your story, your passion, and your heart. You also give them permission to be themselves around you.

Fake "perfection" may impress viewers for a moment, but authenticity creates loyalty that lasts a lifetime.

Choose to show up fully today, with your wins, your lessons, and even your scars.

This Is Not How Your Story Ends

SCRIPTURE:

“Being confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.”

— Philippians 1:6 (NKJV)

The interpretation of this verse is simple...: "there is THIS ONE THING I am sure of, without an iota of doubt."

And it is THIS...... The God that started this good work in you, will NOT abandon the project."

Have you noticed that "You are a work in progress?"

DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE:

You are reading this for a reason. Not everyone made it this far... but you did.

Maybe not where you thought you would be.

Maybe not with the support you expected.

But you are still here.

Still standing. Still breathing.

Stop confusing the middle with the end.

Don’t confuse the silence with absence.

The chapters you are struggling through now will one day be someone else’s survival guide.... just because you kept going.

Your Mind may be telling you to see this phase of your life, as the end, but Your Maker will surely consider it as an interlude.

Heaven has not logged you out.

Earth has loads of storage space for your impact.

The main, and most significant reason that you are still here, is that God has not finished with you yet.

This is not where the story ends.

You are not overlooked. You are not out of time. You are not disqualified.

Your story.... as bruised and as damaged as it may feel... IS NOT OVER.

And when God is the Author, even the tattered pages can still carry divine glory.

My friend, God is in THIS story!

Hold on tight.

Monetize What You Know: The Seed You Carry Can Feed Nations

Dearly Beloved,

It's a Brand New Day.

It's another fresh chance to believe in the value of what’s already in your hands.

You do not have to wait for a degree, permission, or a platform to start.

What you already know could be someone else's breakthrough.

Whether it's how to write, how to care, how to encourage, how to fix, how to clean, how to teach, how to organize... that knowledge is seed.

And seed is meant to be sown.

Sow it into others!!

Teach, Serve, Package it, Offer it, or Share it.... and you will not go hungry.

This is the divine exchange: those who water others will themselves be watered.

I started with teaching Remedial English in University of Calabar to students admitted to various courses, but did not pass English (1983).

I taught digital skills to Seniors in the UK. In Ireland, I taught in the VEC and private colleges and became a Proprietor of colleges. I teach what I learn and keep learning to teach others. I have trained beginners and have worked in healthcare and mental health. I am a Suicide First Responder and a Mental health First Responder. I am proudly, a lifelong learner, so I can keep teaching.

You may not be called to teach in Vocational Education, in classrooms or virtual classes like I have done for decades. You don't even have to be a Serial Learner like I am. What you already know is enough!!!

We can't all be the same....

Quit trying to be like others.

Friend, you ARE called to use what you have.

Don’t bury your gifts.

Don’t underestimate your seed.

Someone is praying for what you already know. 💡

Ask God, “Where do You want me to sow today?”

You may be surprised where your wisdom takes you.

Every tree carries seeds. But it doesn’t consume its own fruit... It offers it freely, and to benefit others.

The knowledge you carry has value. It can bless others, build communities, and yes, create wealth.

Give generously.

Support intentionally.

Even if everyone does not become your friend or appreciate your SEED, you still get to sow what you were gifted with.

Restorative Devotional.

Dear Friend,

There will be days you feel strong, and days when grief hits you out of nowhere.

Healing is not a straight line... it curves through joy, tears, silence, and sometimes even doubt.

Many times, our healing is delayed, not because of our faith, but triggered by our doubt.

God is not disappointed in your pace. He is walking with you through every dip and rise, and every zig and zag.

What matters is not how fast you heal, but that you allow yourself to heal.

If you fall into a ditch, you still need to find ways to dig yourself out. Do what is needful to help your body heal, and have faith, that healing will work for you.

And, even when you don’t feel it, you are still making progress.

Those broken pieces are, (in fact), still being held together by the One who makes all things whole.....

The Master Artist & Creator Himself.

> “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”

— Psalm 147:3

Sometimes, healing does not come as we hope or need.

God is still God in the valley, the same as He is, on dry land!

Allow Him enter into the valley of the shadow of death with you! Your Maker still saves....

In His Time!!

Time.... the one major, of many things that we have no control over.

May He heal our hearts and bind up the afflictions of our bodies, in His Time.

Let us pray He gives us the grace we need to embrace the faith that allows the healing we require and expect, in His Time.

For, it can take great and unflinching, Faith, which many of us don't have.

In the English dictionary, the letter E comes before F....

E = Effort

F = Faith

Add Faith to your Efforts.

And trust God for His Timing.

Today is A Seed -Brand-New-Day

“Today Is A Seed”

BRAND NEW DAY

Monday, 21 July 2025.

My Dear Friend,

It’s a brand new day... and that means new soil.

Yesterday, I spent quality time with one of my wonderful friends, Pamela, in her home-grown vegetable garden! Lordy, Lordy, Lordy! Every space of that backyard was one vegetable or the other. Pamela's Home Garden has energised my own age-long vision and I must (must) work to achieve it.

Pamela had warned me, "come in your jeans or shorts, not fancy dress. We will be wet and dirty!" And I drove 50 minutes each, in both directions to witness a garden filled with almost every kind of insecticide-free edible green vegetable, including Kale (one of my favourites.) I even got a "takeaway" package. Who doesn't love takeaways?

I got home super tired from just watering a few rows of greens, (and, of course) getting hit with polen and hay fever, but it was worth the time, energy, and company. I'll gladly do it again! Pamela's Home Garden looks like a Ministry in it's own right.

Pam's Veg Garden is impressive, for want of a better word. One thing I learnt is simple. What you plant, grows! But you must be absolutely intentional, devoted and focused! I will talk about that garden in my journal very soon.

Every little step you take today is planting something for your tomorrow.

You may not see the full bloom today, but what you plant in thoughts, actions, words, and effort will grow.

Everything GROWS!!! Everything. Even laziness has its fruits. It bears nothing as fruits. If you plant nothing, you will absolutely 💯% reap nothing. Its as simple as ABC.

It’s easy to dismiss the small stuff: that phone call you make today, the one email you finally sent, or the decision to rest instead of rushing around like a headless chicken. But you ignored...

🌱 TODAY IS A SEED.

Every seed contains potential.

It carries Purpose.

Is entrenched in Power.

Every Seed grows..

But ONLY YOU can choose what kind of seed to plant.

✅️ Sow kindness, and you will reap connection.

✅️ Sow courage, and you will reap strength.

✅️ Sow discipline, and you will reap results.

Even those annoying delays, unexpected detours, and painful disappointments are often just deep planting seasons... Yes!!

Find some use for your pain. Dont waste your tears on regret.

📌 REMEMBER THIS:

God doesn’t waste your waiting. He waters your willingness.

So, dearly beloved. Whatever you do today.... do it with the future in mind.

Let it be a seed.

Let it be intentional.

Let it grow.

Some moments in life that try to swallow us whole.

Moments that break others beyond repair. Those situations we see, that silence even the strongest voices.

But you? Yes, you!! You are still standing.

It's not because it wasn’t hard.

No! Not because things were easier for you.

But because grace held you, even when you couldn’t hold yourself.

The truth is, we rarely give ourselves enough credit for surviving what would have taken someone else out.

That heartbreak...

That betrayal....

That lonely season no one knew about....

You carried it all... and you came out with your soul still intact.

That’s not a small breakthrough!!

That is the evidence you need right there.

* Of God's presence.

* Of your resilience.

* Of a future still waiting to unfold.

Today, we won't pretend it didn’t hurt.

Today is about honouring the fact that you survived.

There is purpose in your survival...

And... there's healing in remembering that God didn’t let the fire consume you.

When you know it couod easier have.
