Scripture:
“But this I say, brethren, the time is short:
it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none;
and they that weep, as though they wept not;
and they that rejoice, as though they rejoiced not;
and they that buy, as though they possessed not;
and they that use this world, as not abusing it:
for the fashion of this world passeth away.”
~ 1 Corinthians 7:29–31 (KJV)
As we step into September, Paul’s words remind us of the urgency of time.
Life, with all its relationships, joys, sorrows, and possessions, can easily consume us.
Yet, Paul calls us to a higher awareness: the world as we know it is passing away.
This does not mean neglecting responsibilities or refusing to enjoy the blessings God gives.
Rather, it is a call to hold all things lightly.
The sorrow you felt in August does not have to follow you into September as a chain.
The joy you tasted last month is not the end of God’s goodness.
The possessions you worked hard to gain must not become idols.
Paul is urging us to live with eternity in view.
Marriage, business, emotions, and even our daily routines should be placed under the perspective of Christ’s return and God’s eternal kingdom.
Prioritize purpose over distraction. Do not let temporary things rob you of eternal focus.
Live with detachment yet with devotion. Use the world but do not abuse it.
Anchor your hope in Christ. Everything else is fleeting, but He is unchanging.
“Lord, as I begin this new month, help me to live with eternity in mind.
Teach me to hold the things of this world lightly and to hold on to You tightly.
May my choices this September reflect Your kingdom values.
Help me not to be consumed by temporary gains or losses, but to walk in the light of Your eternal purpose.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
π This September, I will not be enslaved by sorrow, overwhelmed by possessions, or distracted by temporary concerns.
I will walk with eternity in view and live each day with purpose.

In this edition of The Reset Table, we remind ourselves that not every forward step requires motion.
Sometimes, the wisest step is to stop.
Stopping does not mean failure.
It means you value reflection over rush, and wisdom over weariness.
If you are traveling in the wrong direction, speeding up only gets you lost faster.
The harder you press, the further away you move from peace, clarity, and purpose.
Even drivers know this truth: sometimes the only way to move forward is to shift into a lower gear.
That gear may feel slower, but it is what makes the climb possible.
Unless you pause, assess, and refocus, you risk burning out or losing hope altogether.
Good morning,
It’s a Brand New Day! Another opportunity to step forward, even if it’s messy.
Perfection is a trap!! Progress is the real win!
π That book draft doesn’t need to be polished before it exists.
π That business idea doesn’t need a perfect logo before it starts.
π Your first video will NOT look like your 100th...
But. Guess what? You will never reach 100 if you don’t do the first.
What is one “unfinished” idea you can push forward today, even if it’s not perfect?
Will you start now? Why not?

Good morning,
It’s a Brand New Day! Another opportunity to move from just knowing to doing.
As the day breaks, remember this: knowledge by itself is potential power.
Knowledge becomes real power only when you act on it.
