OCTOBER REFLECTION: ✨️💛 

October is here, and this month is not just any month for me.

In 15 days, I celebrate my 65th birthday!! This is 65 years of life, lessons, pain, victories, laughter, love, and yes, New Beginnings. This reflection is my gift to you, and my testimony of what it means to keep hope alive.

September has now closed its chapter. Gone!! Never to return.

Some things worked, some things did not. Maybe you missed a goal, maybe you carried more than you could handle. And that’s okay! We carry lessons, not regrets.

Now, October stretches before us, like a fresh page waiting to be written. The truth is, uncertainty will always be part of life... in work, health, family... and in the wider world. But courage doesn’t mean you don’t feel afraid; it just means you keep moving forward even when fear walks beside you.

Think of a child taking their first steps. Unsteady but determined. Or a seed buried in the soil.. Hidden, but alive with possibility. That is what courage looks like.

This October, walk boldly into your days. Choose small, brave steps. Let hope rise where fear tries to settle. 

And remember... Uncertainty cannot cancel God’s presence, nor can it silence the promise of your brand New Beginnings.

Through it all… we keep hope alive.

Oh Lord, as I enter October, give me courage where I feel weak, hope where I feel tired, and joy where I feel unsure. Help me to release yesterday’s burdens and step into today with faith and with confidence. Amen.

Theme/Title: Breaking Free from Silent Battles

Some of the hardest struggles we face are the ones nobody sees. 

Those silent battles

Anxiety.

Loneliness.

Doubt.

Grief....  Or 

Fear...

They can be so exhausting because we fight them behind closed doors.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

But the truth is this:  

**God sees the battles you fight in silence..... and He walks through them WITH you.**  

He equips you with strength you never knew you had.  

👉 David fought lions and bears in private before facing Goliath in public.  

👉 Jesus prayed in Gethsemane alone before the victory of the cross.  

👉 Many of your private battles are preparing you for visible breakthroughs.

You need to understand this: you do not have to fight alone.

God’s promise is that His grace is sufficient, and His strength is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

The fact that you struggle in silence does not make your pain unimportant.

And your silent battles do not diminish God’s presence.

Challenges are like classes and lessons.

Once you pass through them, you become “experienced” in that topic. 

You know what worked, and what didn’t. 

Your experience becomes your testimony, and your testimony becomes someone else’s survival guide.

God’s grace should make you **better, not bitter** — if you believe He was with you in the season of pain.  

When you realize that you came through struggles, pain, and tears — yet you are still standing by God’s grace — then know this: God has lined up many others for you to strengthen.  

As Scripture says:  

*"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the same comfort we ourselves receive from God."* (2 Corinthians 1:3–4)

So, how can you teach others what you are still annoyed about?

How can you teach what you think you survived in your own strength?

How can you teach lessons you never stopped to learn?

👉 Someone is going through the same silent struggle you’ve already overcome.

👉 Someone will lose hope unless you share how God carried you through.

There is nothing as traumatic as losing hope while still alive.

But hope lives.... when we pass on the comfort we have received.

Don’t fear pain or struggle. 

It builds your faith strong.

**Tonight, lay down the heavy armor you’ve carried for too long, and let God fight for you.**  

Breathe…

What silent battle are you fighting right now?

Invite God’s strength into that hidden struggle?

And breathe.....

In knowing that joy is coming in the morning.

(Psalm 30:5, says, "Weeping may endure for a season, but joy comes in the morning".)

Good morning,

It’s a Brand New Day! 🌞 

Every great movement, invention, or business started as a simple idea. 

But ideas alone do not change lives!! 

Execution or Action, is what does it.

👉 An idea in your notebook inspires only you.

👉 An idea put into action can inspire, serve, and transform others.

Many people bury their brilliance by waiting for the “perfect time.” 

To be honest? I raise my hand up!

On some projects, I used to wait for a "more convenient" time, but it never came!!

Perfection does not create impact...

Progress does. 

Your idea does not have to be polished to start making a difference.

It just needs to be released.

Think of the products, books, or solutions that changed your life. 

Someone dared to turn their idea into something tangible.... and because of that, you benefited.

Your idea could be someone else’s breakthrough. 

Don’t keep it locked in your head.

So today, take one step to move your idea forward.

Write. 

Record.

Design.

Teach. Or...

Share. 

Because your impact is waiting on the other side of your action.

Sometimes, life can feel like a "free fall"... 

You know.... that time when your best plans suddenly collapse like a pack of cards!! 

When relationships break...

You lose a loved one...

Or your dreams seem to slip away right before your eyes. 

I have been there... in all those places. 

Many of us have. 

But... You dont get to hear everyone's story.

But even in those moments, one truth remains: God never lets go.

When you feel abandoned, He is near. 

When you stumble, He holds you steady. 

When you are too weak to keep walking, He carries you.

The Christian Scripture reminds us: “I will never leave you nor forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5). 

His grip is stronger than your weakness....

His love is greater than your fears.

👉 Friends may fail.

👉 Strength may fade.

👉 Even your own faith may falter.

But God’s hand does not slip.

Hold on to this tonight: 

You are not walking alone....

No matter how uncertain the path..

No matter how heavy the burden...

The God that never lets go is holding you still.

Only.... Believe it....

A BRAND NEW DAY

Theme/Title: Becoming the Go-To in Your Niche

Good morning,

It’s a Brand New Day! 🌞 

Its yet another opportunity to step out of the crowd and position yourself as the go-to person in your field.

Every niche has experts. 

But not every expert becomes the one people think of first. 

What sets the "go-to" people, apart? 

Clarity, consistency, and courage.

👉 Clarity... knowing exactly who you serve and what problem you solve.

👉 Consistency... showing up day after day with value, not disappearing when it’s inconvenient.

👉 Courage... daring to speak, to teach, or lead in ways that others shy away from.

Being the "go-to" does not mean you know everything!!!

It jist means you’ve positioned yourself as the one who delivers solutions people can trust.

Think about it: 

when people have a problem, they don’t search endlessly for “options.” 

They go to the person who comes to mind first. 

That person CAN BE YOU.... if you are clear, consistent, and courageous enough to claim the space.

When your friends recognize WHAT you do (Clarity), WHO you do it for (Consistency), and WHEN you do it (Courage to show up even when it’s not convenient), they begin to identify YOU as the “Go-To Person.”  

WHY IS THAT SO?:

👉 Titles that stick are often given by people who have experienced your value.

EXAMPLES ARE ALL AROUND US

 👉 SUNNY ADE: Apart from being born into a royal heritage, who gave the Nigerian Musician Sunny Ade the title “King of Juju Music”? The press and the people....  and he claimed it.  

👉 EBENEZER OBEY:The legendary Ebenezer Obey styled himself “Chief Commander” and it became his permanent brand.  

👉 MICHAEL JACKSON was crowned “The King of Pop” by Elizabeth Taylor, who saw his global impact.  

👉 ELIZABETH TAYLOR herself was called “Queen of the Silver Screen.”

👉 MUHAMMAD ALI declared himself “The Greatest” and he proved it by his "Fly like a butterfly, Sting like a bee" mantra.

In the same way…  

👉 My friends call me the "Dr. YINKA DIXON, the "Queen of New Beginnings” because again and again, they come to me for 

🎯 guidance in transitions, 

🎯 clarity for fresh starts, and 

🎯 strategies to turn challenges into opportunities.

👉 And I am also known as Pastor YINKA DIXON, the “APOSTLE of NEVER TOO LATE ”.... because I preach, teach, and live out the truth that "it is never too late" to reset, rebuild, or rise into the life you were meant to live.

THAT IS SO.... regardless of whatever obstacles or pain you may be going through, or may have been through. 

Because THAT... IS MY STORY.

My friend, just like someone you may know, YOUR AUDIENCE IS WATCHING. 

They are ready to call you the “Go-To” for your niche.....

Ready to PAY YOU what you are worth.

The light won't bite you.

Today is another chance to step boldly into your worth with confidence and clarity, when you're offering great value.

Too often, many of us undervalue ourselves. 

We discount our skills, lower our prices, or give away our expertise for free, or ridiculously excessive discounts. Many times, it is because we fear rejection or we worry that no one will pay for the value we render. 

But here’s the truth: when you undercharge, you don’t just reduce your income, you reduce your impact.

Know This and Be at Peace:

👉 The person paying pennies rarely values your work.

👉 The client who invests fully shows up, commits, and gets results.

Those are the statistics.

These are the facts.

Charging what you’re worth is not arrogance; it is alignment. 

You are not charging for the hours you spend...  You are charging for the years of experience, the wisdom, and the perspective that make those hours valuable.

Think about it:

A doctor doesn’t charge you for the 5 minutes it takes to diagnose.

They charge for the years of study, practice, and expertise it took to recognize the issue in 5 minutes.

Your work should carry the same principle.

Courage comes when you believe these two things:

1. What you bring to the table is unique and transformative.

2. The right clients will always pay for value.

You are not for everyone. 

But you are priceless to the right people.

So today, decide this: 

Stop apologizing for your rates. 

Stop explaining why you cost what you cost. 

Stand tall, deliver value, and charge with confidence.

Because when you charge what you’re worth, you don’t just earn money! You elevate the standard of what’s possible for yourself and for others.

The little things you do daily create the big results you see eventually.

Habits are the invisible architects of our destiny. They either quietly build you up, or slowly break you down. 

You don’t rise to the level of your goals; you fall to the level of your habits.

👉 One glass of water becomes hydration.

👉 Ten minutes of reading becomes wisdom.

👉 Fifteen minutes of planning becomes productivity.

You've heard the phrase, 

"Little drops of water make the mighty ocean.

Little grains of sand make the pleasant land. 

Thus, those little minutes, Humble though they be, Make the mighty ages, Of eternity".  (Rearranged.)

It's from the 19th-century American poem titled "Little Things" by Julia Abigail Fletcher Carney which became a hymn.

Consistent small efforts, such as daily reading or practicing a skill, can lead to significant improvements in personal growth and knowledge. 

The secret of success is not found in rare moments of brilliance but in daily consistency. If you can master your habits, you can master your future.
